Battersea Dogs and Cats Home
is the famous London based (but with branches at Old Windsor and Brands Hatch too) charity which rescues, reunites pets and owners where possible and rehomes when it isn't. A sanctuary for elderly dogs and others that for some reason will find it difficult to be rehomed.
